Oh, and thanks for the “clean” advertisements. Some websites will just let anything slide these days….

Thanks for this. Being a young adult can be hard, esp. with so many images and distractions just fighting for that spot in your head. When I was younger, I was curious about why porn was so bad. Once I saw it, I started trying to convince myself that it was educational or a better alternative than going out and just doing it with someone I rarely knew, or any other reckless decision. But then I realized that something physical isn’t always the thing that’s the most poisonous: it’s what we take in that messes with our thinking. It may not be dangerous, but it stays nestled inside of us and we don’t care until later and look at ourselves as monsters for being so perverted. I’ve learned upon discovering porn that it doesn’t do anything but satisfy an urge that is only there temporarily. And it’s not just a man thing, it’s a woman’s thing too. Masturbating is a healthier way to deal with urges, but if it takes over your life, what’s the difference from porn, drugs, or alcohol? I’m ready to change and ask God for a chance to fix myself, and I really think this is it. Thank you for making it free, easy; thanks for leading us wayward into the light, and God bless you. :)

It is really good to see some real practical steps set out. I have been struggling terribly with porn for the last four years and I have tried so hard to stop. I have complete faith that God has a much better plan for my life, and I know he will help me use this experience to help other people in the same situation. I had some pretty bad experiences with gay sexual acts when i was very young which really hurt me in my later teens as I matured. So my whole sexuality has been kind of ruined and muddled by early exposure to sexual acts and porn. I am a lot stronger these days so hopefully these techniques will help me finally KILL my porn issues. Although I think as humans (especially men) it will still be a constant battle in our lives, sex is just so abundant in our thoughts and society slurs the line between right and wrong abundantly.
I understand what you are going through
      God Bless you
I really hope you are healed of your addiction

thank you so much. I have tried so many times to quit because I feel it is sick and perverted but I just manage three days then give in again I hope this works,

  9. Simphiwe says

Ii’ve struggled with porn for years and whats funny is it doesn’t start with porn it starts with sensual images and soon the craving gets stronger and stronger. As a woman I neglect that all those romance movies stimulate that kind of hunger and one scene of passion leads you into so much trouble. I’ve tried many ways to curb the addiction with some success but I want it gone forever and after visiting this site I can see that it is possible. Thank you for being that beacon of light to so many
