I haven’t posted in a while, but today I came across this amazing video on TED.
First 8 minutes of it, is just entertaining to watch, but towards the end the author gets to the point. The point being that once we are happy our productivity increases.
Once I heard that I was really interested to hear what tips the author would give to help us feel happy. I was very surprised when he listed them out:
- Listing 3 new things that you are thankful for every day
- Journaling
- Exercise
- Meditation
- Random Acts of Kindness
He also recommended to try doing each one of those for 21 day.
This is amazing because those suggestions almost word to word match the advise that I gave couple years ago in my articles titled “How to Stop Porn Addiction“.
It just reinforce once again the point that stopping addiction, being productive, or taking other positive actions in your life relies on us being happy. And we can choose to be happy through committing to do things that make us happy on daily basis. It sounds too simple to be true, but it works

I saw this video just a few days before i discovered your site.
I recognized the similarities between shawns list and the tipps in your course and was suprised too. there actually seems to exist a guideline for beeing happy which is can even be prooved scientifically. and read them partly..
