Your Power of Choice to Feed the Right Wolf, by Coach Craig

By Feed the Right Wolf Coach, Craig Perra

If you are reading this, that means that you made a choice. You chose to awaken that force inside you that insists that you are better than a porn zombie.  You have chosen, if only for seconds a day, and maybe it’s this second right here and right now, to say I’m sick and tired of surrendering my power of choice.

Well, congratulations, you have chosen well. And that means something, and you should be proud.

Just think about it for a second . . . what if you truly controlled your power of choice? Though I know you’re struggling with choice right now, let’s take a look at what you’ve chosen so far: you’ve chosen to find this page, to read these words, and to keep reading, you’ve chosen self growth, . . . and these choices my friends are powerful. Your power of choice is awakening. You’ve chosen to look in the mirror and do the hard work of changing many years of self-destructive habits. You’ve chosen to FEED THE RIGHT WOLF.

Regardless of where you are in your journey or where you think you need to go, you’ve started to embrace your power of choice. As the first and new official Coach for Feed the Right Wolf I’m very excited to join you on your journey. I’m excited to be working with Alex, the founder of this incredible resource, and I am massively in love that I’m doing this with my incredible wife Michelle.

I’m so excited to share my journey with you. You are going to be seeing a lot more of me in upcoming blogs, posts on Facebook and some videos. I want to hear from you so don’t hesitate to call. I’ll try to connect each of my posts to something personal that’s happened to me. I’ve lived such a rich life filled with incredible successes and ugly mistakes so I hope that my path can help you find yours.

In this post I simply want you to begin embracing a very powerful phrase that changed my life. Start to really understand the power underlying the phase, “you always have a choice” as echoed by my mentor George Collins over and over again. You may not be able to always grasp it, but you understand it. And that’s a great place to start.

And you are not alone – that is what’s so powerful about Feed the Right Wolf – its community. You may not feel that way, but you are surrounded by hundreds of thousands of strong powerful people just like you who have chosen sanity and happiness – a life free of compulsive porn. Hundreds of thousands have come before you to embrace their power of choice on this site and now it’s your turn!!!

We talk a lot about choice and change in my work and I found a video that embodies both of these principles in a very serious way.

It’s about a man who was just about dead, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. It moved me to tears. Please watch watch the video below in it’s entirety. Share with me how this video did or did not hit you. Tell me what part of the video struck you as powerful. What part hit you right in the heart?

This video embraces a key concept that you are embracing . . . and living — you always have a choice.  Oh yeah, and when you fall down, get back up. How many times do you think he fell down? I honor you for getting back up and choosing to Feed The Right Wolf.

  • Internet Accountability Software
Using this software allowed me to get truly honest with my internet usage for the first time in my life. For some reason knowing that my every step was being observed and reported on, made it really easy to use internet only in a healthy way.
  • Treating Pornography Addiction by Kevin B. Skinner Ph.D.
I have read over 15 books on Pornography and Sexual addiction and this truly is one of the best books on the subject. The reason is I recommend this particular book is because it is full of excellent actionable steps. Other books do a good job describing the problem, but don’t really offer a realistic solution.
  • Your Sexually Addicted Spouse – How Partners Can Cope and Heal by Barbara Steffens Ph.D.
I know that about half of visitors to our site are spouses of people who might be suffering with pornography and sex addiction. To the best of my knowledge this book is one of the most helpful books for the partners.

    Hi Craig,

I saw the link to this website on the Anti-Pornography page and I am so glad that I made the choice to follow it! Porn addiction has been such a large and detrimental part of my life but in the past few weeks, I have began to realise that life is all about the choices you make.

This post has crystallised and consolidated the thoughts that have been arising in my mind. I feel confident that I can continue embracing positive change by FEEDING THE RIGHT WOLF! So, thank you for writing this post.

I really liked the video, it really moved me and I was close to tears. People underestimate – including myself – the power and potental that they possess. This is wrong as the ability to choose is the greatest power that exists. I really identified with the resilience of a ‘never give up’ attitude. I am sure that if I had given up and chosen death instead, I would not be here now. Porn addiction brought me to the brink but I chose to live and change. Life has never been the same again.

    Keep up the good work,

    Stan 😀
