Dealing with Addiction to Porn

Is Porn Addiction Real?

Porn addiction is real. I know it from personal experience, and from experience of thousands of others whom I meet in recovery. Is it scientifically recognized? No, it is still debated. But I want to remind you that alcoholism was not consider an addiction 50 years ago either. The important part is, if porn is ruining your life and you cannot stop on your own, the problem is real.

Am I addicted to porn?

This one is simple. Did you ever try to stop, and realized that you couldn’t? Did you ever tell yourself, “I am going to go to bed at 11″, and ended up staying up until 4am? Did you ever skip your personal responsibility, so you can watch porn? If you answered yes to at least one of this questions, it is likely that you are at least partially addicted.

What do I do now?

First of all don’t panic. This is not the end of the world. Chances are you had this behavior for a very long time, without ever realizing that you had a problem. Perhaps you knew something was wrong, but never could point your finger to it. Well, now you know, and you can finally begin to change your life for the better.

The videos below outline a number of steps that you can take to stop porn addiction.
