Congrats Banlee on making this decision, you don't know how lucky you are to start recovering now than in your 20s or 30s. For me, it was between the ages of 16-22 that I really got addicted, and all of repetitive usage has made it really hard to quit. So it's great that you have started now.
Also, it is possible that some of your friends will wonder why you are giving up porn, saying that it is a stupid thing to do since porn is "harmless" and fun. But let the stories on this site (and elsewhere) be a reminder that it is far better to avoid porn completely. When people ask me and I don't have time to explain everything, I just say "I find porn kinda boring, I'd just rather spend my time doing other things."
And it's true--I really do enjoy using my time to do other, healthier, and more fun activities.
