Day 16,
Nothing much to report. Working more on my anger issues since I have a firm grip on the porn now. I used to look at it off and on. Boredom, stress and libido being my worst enemies. Now I have a firm grip on what I look at for entertainment and I have ways to deal with my libido which are safe and not sinful. When nothing else works I pray believing that it works and it does.

I have something to report but it has nothing to do with porn. My daughter won $3000 in an art competition. The same one who is suffering from depression and drives me nuts all the time. She has something to be happy about and I have something to be proud of her about. This would do wonders for anger and stress in the home. God is a good God and he does answer prayers. $3000 is not a whole lot in my country but it is enough to make a depressed teen feel better for a while. Just have to keep the atmosphere good in the home. Just the idea that she came first in a stiff competition should be enough to make her feel better about herself.

Things are not perfect. The anger still comes and goes. No problem with porn though. I seem to be able to handle long periods without sexual stimulation.

I can't over emphasize how much prayer really works. I spent a long time just praying out of routine but now I see the light. NO problems with porn and I did not get angry today.

Everything is cool so far. No desire for porn. Believing that God answers prayer is working so far. Thanks for the uplifting words ineedofhelp.

3 weeks,
No desire for porn. What usually happens at this time is that I start wondering whether I could look at porn just for the fun of it.I just don't like knowing that I can't do something. Then I look at it and I start getting hooked again. I have finally decided to break this cycle. I have no desire to tempt myself to see how mentally strong I got.
Sex life for me is still difficult. My wife has not been feeling well for the past few weeks and that means very little sex for me. I am OK with this now. Life is stressful for her as well. My daughter who has won the competition still has bouts of depression and anger, where she takes it out on us parents. This is difficult to handle especially since I have my own anger management to deal with. My wife has to deal with the both of us a new born kid and health issues and she is also back to work with a breastfeeding new born kid.
I really feel I have finally kicked the habit. I have gained enough tools and I know myself enough to not go back to porn again. Don't know if I should keep on posting regularly. I seem to be making people angry with my ideas and comments. You tell me.
