Something strange happened today.
I felt like downloading porn from some site and I downloaded two clips.
But I had no urge whatsoever to watch them.
in fact I didn't want to watch them?

I am not sure what is going on.
Am I learning to dislike watching?
What is happening in my brain?

Hi,

I don't remember when was the last time I watched content. I'm honestly not interested in it anymore.
I have made some improvements in my life, and moved out into a lovely apartment.

There are still some issues that bother me, mainly the lack of power of will to do tasks I am entrusted with.

This will be my main goal from now on, completing tasks within a reasonable time.

And also continue working on projects until completion.

These two issues have been the main source of pain in my life for more than a decade. I am hoping to change this.
So my quest from this day onwards is to become a man that completes every task he takes on. Wisely only taking on reasonable amounts of tasks that are beneficial and can actually be completed.
I will post here next month to let you know if I managed to completely avoid adult content but honestly that is not my main concern cause I am rarely interested in that anymore.

Hmm,

I have been back to some habits but also started some new healthy habits.
Either way, I decided to completely avoid content during June.
Wish me luck.

In your post from May the 11th you wrote that you had no urge to watch porn. I had the same experience although I can't explain why. I went to porn sites but when I wanted to click on "Play" I stopped and asked myself "Why am I doing this?" Suddenly I saw no sense in watching porn so I left the site. Some would call this as a part of "internal healing" or maybe my brain really started some healing process or cleaning or something like that... But I hope it's not bad.

Interesting, there are probably good reasons and bad reasons for not wanting to watch porn.

I am hoping to stop for the right reasons.
There is something I've been meaning to do for a long time, over a decade and I decided I will stop watching until I complete this goal.

I can sympathise with your quote above. For me, I had been trying or over 4 decades. It is indeed an insidious problem.
I'm at Day 50 now and have put all that behind me. It is so important that we break this addiction.
The members here, we are all right behind you ElbowRoom, and we want to see you succeed in your goal.
So be encouraged. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep us posted.
