There are usually characteristics that lead to heavy pornography usage. The usage than magnifies those characteristics and can cause others to form (such as the tendency towards selfishness). Addressing addiction allows people to also address their character defects, rarely do they simply go away from the state of sobriety. Sobriety grants the gift of growth and the clarity to change. If your husband can surrender his ego, admitting that he may have such character defects, absolutely anything is possible.
