Day 14! 2 weeks down, I feel really good as I haven't had any strong triggers or urges. Also I'm happy because I have finally started the third decade of my life! I'm no longer a teenager, Yippee! :D Though the main thing I hope for is that this decade will alot like my first ten years of my life ( without porn ) and less like the past ten (chock-full of porn). Here's to a new, clean decade and a brighter future! :D

Happy birthday my friend.

What true and honest words you write.
If you could see all the things you are capable of, all the wonderful things that could come to pass in the next 10 years
I do believe your head would explode!

being clean, closing the door on Porn is going to allow you to open such fantastic ~other~ doors.
Its not ~all~ about giving up~ - its what you ~get back~ that really makes life wonderful.

Best wishes. Strength and success for the next 10 years!

Happy birthday Beingclean!!!

I think you have a great attitude and you're on the right path to getting where you want to be.

Your friend,
Absolution.

Thanks CSC and Absolution, for your kind words and well wishes! :D I had a great day and I look forward to many more days and years to come!

I have had a great start with no slips and it is now Day 18! I am tired, I realized, of being addicted to porn. It doesn't do much for your self-confidence if you know what I mean! I want to put this addiction where it belongs, firmly in the past. I can't wait until I can be "being clean, ex-porn addict". But for now I have to take it one day at a time!

Day 20, this is around the time when things get really difficult. I have to keep my mind away from past failures and from dwelling on temptations. Some of the worst thoughts/fetishes are FINALLY starting to lose their appeal. It's nice to finally see some real results from my abstention from porn! :D

Day 22, I was telling myself last night that these past few days have been very easy. Usually I would feel happy or smug, but this time I thought that this could be the calm before the storm. Lo and behold, one sexual dream later and my mind is full of thoughts, less extreme than usual, but still there. I started on a non-sexual road that I knew and wanted to lead me stimulating material, BUT I stopped myself before I actually read what I was looking for. Hooray! :D

Hi Beingclean,

Good job. It's important to realize the times we feel confident or when things feel easy are often the times when our addiction is creeping up on us. Keep moving forward!

Your friend,
Absolution.

Thanks and will do Absolution!

Day 24, I have now spent 50 out of the past 51 days away from porn! I am continuing to find the worst things I used to like repulsive so I really am happy about that. Other than that nothing else to report, I still am getting good and bad days, but the thoughts are weaker and infrequent ( for now at least! :D )

Hi beingclean,
Do I detect a little happiness in your conversation? BTW You are to be commended 50 days out of 51 is a fantastic achievement.
I knew you could do it!
Best wishes CSC

Yeah CSC, I have no real reason to be upset lately! :)

Day 26, I always find it amusing how this site exists with a bunch of people talking about NOT watching porn. Especially people around my age (20), people fall into 2 groups: the watchers and the abstainers. Not many recoverers that come across. But it is also sad that people can have addictions at such a young age that could really hinder and cripple you in the future.
